My name is Shawndra and Iam a newcomer,I am currently recovering from na abuse.I was addicted for a year and I have been clean for only 2months.I am looking to talk to others that share my experience.I think it would make it a little easier for me to get through this if i have more people to talk too.

Welcome aboard shawdra, I hope you find this site as useful as I have, meeting great women along the way. I am an addict in recovery from anything I could get my hand on but heroin in the end really brought me down. Have been in recovery over three yrs now. I can tell you its not easy but as times goes on it is rewarding. There are good days and bad. I used to have dreams of using all the time and now they happen less frequent. The desire gets less the longer you stay clean for me it was very strong in the begining but the longer I stayed away the urge got less frequent as well. So with abstinence comes strength. So hang in there and hope you can stick with us. We all try the best we can to help one another.
