| ((((Sandy))) I just got back from Las Vegas!! My husband and I went over there for our (25th) Silver wedding anniversary! It is a fabulous place!(((Zoomer))) I know what you mean about that peri-menapausal thing. It took me a solid ten years to get thur that, and I'm still having hot flashes from it. My doctor prescribed hormone replacement therapy for me, and that is helping. I still have to take a lot of cold showers. (LOL) And by the way hot fudge sundays always helped me too. Ha Ha!Oh yes! I love going to the horse races too! When do we go? Ha Ha!

Only played slots...I'm such a loser! {LOL} Nice to take a virtual vacation with such excellent people...you too 2dayz. How'd you do on those tables? I'll bet your fanny pack is bustin' out! I watched the movie Clean and Sober tonight...with Michael Keaton and Morgan Freeman. Don't know why I bought it...I guess I needed a refresh on detox {LOL} Glad I don't have to start over for today anyway. |

LOL Bonni (((((((((((((huggys and happy birthday))))))))))))),yes you could say at times my hormons do run wild. for so long they where shut up My husband did let me sleep in til 7am today. I was up ast night,fell asleep and woke up to my girls putting doll clothes on the new kitten. I then got them calmed down and the kitten undressed fell back to sleep and got woken up again by one daughter kicking the other one in the face while they slept (I have them in the fold out couch up in my older daughter's room while I take the single). So I get up and come and get on the computer because I can't go back to sleep. Myhusband comes out and gives me the evil eye. This morning LOL, he had the computer shut down! it takes me forever and a day to get the thing booted up because my older kids have done things to this poor thing that has thier personized screen stuff pop up the moment it goes on. It takes forever to x out and get to the program I want to go to. Anyway, my husband knows this and did it on perpose to **** me off. I had to laugh because he is sooooo funny and passive agressive. I was ging to wake up in a good mood and start the day off right,but after he woke me up with a pissy tude, I might have to go back to bed,sleep again and rstart my day... |

Hi, sorry to hear about your man troubles. I know the feeling well. I just have to ask, Are you on any type anti-depressants? You might want to consider it. They helped me alot over the years. My drinking problem started when my only chlid grew up and left home. I felt lost and totally alone. It's the co-dependence thing. I had had a baby to care for since I was 16 years old. Now, I just have the demanding husband to care for. There have been several times when I thought he was having an affair. But, I have no proof. It's not a good feeling. I'm proud of you for blowing up at him. Anger is something I have problems experssing. My anger is turned inward--into depression. Anyway, keep sober, take care of yourself, and your children. Enjoy them. They need you. And remember, you can't take care of them unless you take care of yourself. hugs, Becky |

(((((((((((((((Becky)))))))))) LOL, I take my prozac faithfully! I do have an appointment next week to see how I'm doing,perhaps i'll need a bump up on my prescription or I just might have to deal with feelings on a natural level. I'm just tired and cranky today. I sometimes feel that if only I got enough rest, I'll be in a better mood!

I wish I had Prozac when I have to visit family or go to reunions. It's like visiting a hornets nest. Maybe I could put the Prozac in the coffee maker and chill everyone! {LOL} Coffee and Prozac? not a good mix for the ticker. Maybe they'd all have a heart attack? Hmmm...something to think about! {LOL}

Well Zoomer I am sorry to hear that things are going nuts around the house. I for one Know you are an awsome mother who spends every waking moment with them. There comes a time in everyones life that you just need a break. You do alot for that family and hubby should show a little more respect. As for the boss lady hmm I would not like that myself. You have great patience and understanding. You have got your hands full girl. I only have one but sometimes want to run away unfortionatly I have no hubby to run from..They will be back in school soon and I know the driving here and there and picking up this one here and that one there will start but you may have the time to take a shower or tub in peace. Hang in there mom. You are a great person and you have the right to have any feelings you have. He should help a bit more but thats a hubby for ya. I hope things get better however reality is once one things finishes another begins. I am here when ever you need to vent. No problem...

SM, I did't know that coffeee and prozac was not good for the ticker! Hum something to think about. My shrink never said anything about it! Now on another level... Prozac is not instant, you need to take it for awhile to work. It's not an instant nothing. when I take it, I do sometimes get heart burn,but it is not an instant mood altering substance. Although it just may alter your mood after about two weeks from depression to a little bit of calmness.... namommy, ((((huggys))), I can see last night put you in a good mood |

LOL, O ya, I went back to bed to start my day over. I feel much better! My kids even slept in to almost noon! I figure if they can sleep that long,then they must be real tired or ther bodies are growing and need the extra rest. Life is good at the moment!

Well then Zoomer...maybe I'm wrong about the Prozac and coffee. I've been plenty wrong in the past! {LOL} I just figured that Prozac is a depressant and coffee is a stimulant and they oppose each other. Is Prozac a depressant? I should quit being lazy and look that one up. I've got a drug manual here somewhere. Anyway...of course go by what your doctor says. I forgot it takes awhile for Prozac to start working. Thanks for the heads up there. I'm getting ditzier every day! {LOL} Sandy |
