LOL, yes I have become addicted to arguing! I'v also been learning tons on politics and behavior. All fun stuff I'm sure LOL! Zoomer is trying to ignor the fighting of her children on summer vactaion. Zoomer is now going out again to get more food and paper plates for her little monsters I think a tanning session is in order to relax zoomer!

Total bummer, never did get to go tan,but had a great time shopping. It's fun just to go look around and get some exersize while compairing prices. I came home and one child is alseep! I got lucky tonight!

I used to love going tanning...But i dont go anymore..now i just lay out in my backyard...I dont like shopping much!!! I go get what i have to have and get out....unless it is a good yard sale or thrift store and i have extra money..thats about it...otherwise i dont like it...sounds like you had a god day ...hope you get your car fixed butterfly..

((((((((((WT4M))))))))))), I got my membership to the tanning place in the dead of winter. I get depressed,so it's a good way to lift me out of my dark moods. I love to lay out too! But this sort of frees me up to do other things as well and I can be by myself when I go tan. I get a little pampered everytime I go to the salon and meet all kinds of people. And LOL, where I'm living at summer has only been a few days! We have had rain upon rain a lot this summer. I'v been here a long time,but growing up in LA,it still gets to me that it can be cold and rainy in the summer here LOL! My car is haunted I swear! (it could be the electrical too) My wind shild wipers are acting funny. I go to turn them on when it rains,but they come on automaticaly when it does not rain. I wonder if my car is joking around with me LOL!!!

How much does it cost? I always wanted to keep my tan look over the winter. Summer had been awdul here although I got a pretty good tan the few days the sun shined.

I can't believe the food this summer. You never realize it when there in school. I am spending fifty bucks a week with her home. I have been eating only fruits and toast so I just don't get it. I couldn't even buy meat this summer. To damn expensive. I did get two pork chope and a steak yeasterday. I swear we havent eaten meat since school got out.LOL. I make beans to make up for it and stuff. We have been eating sandwhiches(meat) and salads alot. I hate to cook in the summer any how. Seems the price of food is getting higher too. Ok enough babbling and complaining.

About the tanning how much? Also does it get wicked hot in the beds, I don't like that also whats the best stuff to use before and after you tan. Just thought I would ask the experts.OOPS I mean the tanorexics

((((((((((((((Bubblze))))))))))), if you sign up in the summer it's cheeper. I got my membership for a whole year at $150. I upgraded to the goddess beds because it's a shorter amount of time that I have to be in a tube. Most tanning places here go by week by week, or day by day or month by month, or a year. I think they have pacages to fit every budget. Also check you local paper for adds or use your phone book to call a place near you and always ask "what is the specail today,how long will that run..." Do not give them acess to your account. I hate places like that to become a memeber you have to give them your bank account number so they can withdrawl every month. make sure any contract you sign can not be used against you. Tehy say if your on medication to inform them. I don't for the simple reason is that the only thing is you might not get as good a tan as if you where not on medication. And besides it's non of their beeswax. They will also try to sell you tanning products. Just say no thank you and put lotion on you after you tan. Taht stuff is exspencive. Just tell them your allergic. You will have to pay like $1 for eye gear to protect your eyes. I used it at firstbut I was looking like ricky racoon,so I just keep my eyes shut! Some beds are hot,but most now days have AC and music pumped in to them with a towle for sweat.

I used to just move em up to the edges of my eyes ...I mean the very edges but i was afraid to go without..Now you girls are makin me wanna go again...LOL
It is so nice and relaxing!!! I never go in the summer but about october i start jonesin for it!!! I found a bottle of oil made for the beds at marcs discount store..not sure if you girls have those..but any drugstore should have it..It cost me 9 bucks..Verses their 40 bucks per bottle in the salon!!
I always used the coupons i got out of the ads that i got in the mail...The past few years they want I-D..i guess alot of people were saying they were first time customers in order to use the coupons..lol
So now they take your drivers license or i-d here to make sure your in their systems and cant use those wonderful coupons too many times!!

LOL WT4M! In the place I go to,you cannot use anything other than their products in the tanning beds. I did buy some lotion a couple of times. yes, it cost me $40 for bronzer! Ugh........... talk about them dark lines LOL, if you don't rub it in and get the creases,you have bad lines! Well, i did go tanning last night and I wore my eye gear half the time. They also have controls for the face and how much of the tanning you want on your face. I always turn it down because it's just too much for me. I can adjust the AC, the music,but I have to do it by brail because you can't open your eyes to see what button your pushing. Also in the super delux godess bed, they have aroma thyripy and mysting. I went in that bed a couple of times,but by the time I figured out how to do everything, my time was up in the bed. When you first walk in to the salon,you must sign in. It's all computerized. Tehy know who is who and what program you belong to (meaning memebership and what beds you can use). Tehy know who is in what bed and the law states than no one can be in a bed longer than 20 minutes and in the super beds, 12 minutes. After evey use the beds are wiped down in a higenic fashion. On the beds they put a towle and a candy for your enjoyment while tanning. They have a beautiful waiting room with magazines,tvs,ice tea if you have to wait. You can bring your kids too if they are well behaved to sit in the waiting room while you tan. I like the idea of sun Block for the lips WT4M! My lips are kind of chapped right now and I did't think of sun block when I go into the beds. I'll go out and get some today!!! (((((((((((((huggys)))))))))))

It sounds all so good but how often do you have to go and after you get a good tan can you go less often just to keep it up. You said 150.00 for the yr. How often can you go. I heard you can't go every day. Is this true? Sounds so extravigant zoomer I would feel I don't belong. I always feel like that. Even going to a nice hair dresser. Thay are always so nice but I just don't feel I belong.LOL. Say I just wanted to try it out. How many times would I have to go to see a good tan result? That way I can descide if its for me and add to the membership ya know. I also would have to pay month by month or every three months. A lump some is to expensive. I know you save but When I am done paying my bills I usually have about four hundred for the month. This includes ciggerettes, cabs,laundrymat ect... i have started walking to the grocery for exersize and cabbing back. Wish I could with the laundry as well. I need one of those old lady baskets to carry it.ROFLMAO. I remember my great aunt had one.

I usually pay $5.00 a tanning session cuz i don't have a membership anywhere special, I usually tan like once or twice a week now, I can't be tanorexic anymore, I swear I'll look like I have leporesy!! <----did I spell that right? lol
I have olive colored skin so i tan pretty easy, makes me look & feel healthy when i have color, ya know? I guess i get the same feeling as too someone who works out, ya know (I don't work out though! lol)

Well, Bubblze, like I said they have it day by day too. It's big compition thses days to get people to tan,so they make it nice as possible for everyone. Hey Bubblze, money is money and everyone take sit. Your good enough trust me! As a matter of fact, you better than most people I'v met. I go get my hair done once or twice a year. I'v learned though not to cuss out the hair dresser if they screw up which they always screw up in my oppinion LOL! Also, walking is a good idea! I shoudl do more of it. And my mom use to have those old lady carts. Whe it was just me and my daughter and the snow was deep, I use to take her to the market on a sled and carry my grorceries home on the sled. When seh was really young, I use to walk with ehr in her baby carrage and put all my groceries on the bottom and top of the carrage. LOL, one day a person comented on that a bag could slip on the baby, so i was more carful about it! I did't drive when I had my sons and I only had a one seater carrage. I figured out a way to put both boys in and get a few things as well at the general store in that small town. I do feel for you too having to take your clothes out to the laundry mat! BF, I got the membership that i can go everyday. By law though you can not tan more than once in a 24 hour period. I got too dark,so I stopped going as much. I have very blond hair and it did not look good on me to be that tan. I looked wierd and lots of people staird at me.
