help!!!!!! - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

i went to the doctor today and she gave me pain killes for my pain wich with out them i can barly walk. they are my drug of choice and a lady at my meeting took them and will be monitoring them till my sponcer comes back into town. but now with some in my system i want more!!!!!! i cant sleep i just want that high.

Hi Heidi,

Does your dr know that you are addicted to the pain killers he gave you? I wonder if you have looked into non-narcotic pain relievers or other alternative methods of dealing with the pain. My suggestion would be to return to your dr and tell him your situation clearly and ask for his help.

thank you all im really in need of some help through this. yes my doctor knows i am an addict and knows i dont want to lose my five months clean time. but right now i cant walk with out the pain killers.
