| Positive affirmations.
I love how the gratitude post is continuing. I descided to make a positive affirmation one as well. Now you may feel silly doing it as I did when I first tried. I have however noticed it has helped me with my selfasteem. Now it can be something Like "I am strong" or "i can stay clean". These little sentances said to ourselves or posted will help us to feel better and brighten our self esteems. I have homework in my recovery kills group so I thought I would share with y'all. So lets go and post some positive affirmations. You may even help me with some I don't think of. I will start: I am a strong person. I have the power to stay clean. I am a great mother. Please join in and help me with my homework. Itmay even help yourselves see your own great qualities.

This is a great start remember its an every day thing. So keep coming. The more we say it the more we believe it. Do the same ones add more. What ever you are comfortable with. However if you dont repeat them here in the post at least come back to them and read them over to yourself. Keep adding them though the more the better. Rock On Girls. | Hi Namommy Girlfriend that is why we are doing the positive affirmations  I feel the opposite of my affirmations today, but I am saying the positive one's over and over to myself so I can change the groove in my recording. We get stuck in ruts and have to work on making new one's. The fact that you are here on SR is a good one. I am grateful that namommy is on SR Today!  |

I have the power to stay clean. I am a really great mom. I have the power to eat better and to feel better about my appearence. I can and am a good friend. I have the courage to stand up for my beliefs.

Today I have the power to accept me for me. I have the power to stay clean and sober. I can and will lose weight. I can and will also exersize a little each day.

| Today I am going to work releasing my self-loathing and guilt and sending it out into the universe. (I am going to write it on paper and burn it and flush it down the toilet too!) :Flush: Today I will do my pilates work out, I will, Iwill, I will!!! |

I have the energy to get out of bed. I can over come any temptations to use. I am a very strong person. I can and will lose weight. I can feel better and will feel better about the way I look
