i seem to have lost my appetite and its not coming back. i eat about 1/2 as much as i used to (before taking zoloft). plus stress makes my "tummy" hurt. anyone out there feel the same way sometimes? also, i used to use when i was hungry so that i would be "full" and now i sometimes think my body is expecting me to use, then when i dont i feel weird when i eat... cant explain, im hoping someone out there knows what im talking about.

(((Dot))), I do not know if I have ever been in your situation as far as being worried about not eating,but I know side effects from medication can very. I think I would welcome any medication that could help me eat half as much

Look up the side effects from zoloft,that could be one of them. I do go through fazes where I forget to eat and when I think about it I say "Yesssssssssssss". I hope your tummy does not hurt from the medication too! They might beable to give you something for that as well. Eventhough I have not said much on your problem,just know that I care!!!

thanks zoomy! i am sort of happy that im not hungry, but not that my tummy is upset. i also take an iron supplement which i think makes me feel icky. its cool though, i will shed some pounds and rock on! thanks for caring zoomy!

Hi Dot,

I think you're right about the iron. I took that once for awhile and I did feel icky. But, Zoom is right about side effects of any medicine affecting your appetite. But, I always tend to think of the mind-body connection. So, maybe, if your tummy feels icky, it's trying to tell you something. I know you've been stressed out by the school year ending and some stuff with your dad. Maybe that's what it is. Hope you feel better!

I am recently a recovering alcoholic. I relasped after having 3 months of sobriety. I am now trying to acheive 1 day of sobriety and it's seems so hard. I need some suggestions. Greenbird
