Research paper done! - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

3-4 hours a day spent on that b******! and it is finished! and its a darn good paper if i do say so myself. learned a lot... and most importantly, i look forward to leading a semi normal existance now! apparently, the final paper is nothing compared to this beast. so... dot has proven them wrong again! i didnt think id have it done for tomorrow morning. but, its 12:01 here and well, it is friday morning! and im out of here this weekend. friends bday party. so if you dont see me on here, its because im relaxing far away from a computer (and especially microsoft word!).

LOL you go girl! I'll miss you this weekend,but know that your out having fun!!! Good for you! I loved doing my papers when I was in school,but I did't love that I could not spend all my time on them with my daughter needing me. Ugh, I did't know how to use a computer them, so everything had to be hand typed. First I hand wrote it,then I typed it. I had spell check on my type writer,but it did not give me the correct spelling. I had to use the dictionary! LOL,my dam type writer would beep everyother word to tell me I misspelled something and off to the dictonary I would go....... I always got A's on my papers,but they were so time consuming. The research part was easy,the paper was fun to write,but the typing sucked! I feel your pain little sister LOL!!! I'm very proud of you and hope you get the A you deserve!!!

Way to go. Sounds like a good plan. Enjoy your weekend and reward yourself with a new top or pants for your paper. You are doing so well. I am very proud of you to be doing so well. It is people like you that keep me going in my recovery. So thanks for being you and have fun at the party.

(((zoomy, bubblz))) oh im relieved... even at 12:01 i was ready to go do something! anything else than stare at my puter! ahhhhhh! thank you for all your kind words. they mean a lot to me! even though im working on f2f friends, it feels like ive got a lot of great net friends here. you all rock! thanks for everything! especially when i feel so crappy, you gurls always lift my spirits and help me find the getupandgo to fight on!

I so wish I had the ambition I now have to learn. I never was into it exept for art. Now howeva I want to learn everything I look in the dictionary for fun. I love to learn now but I am 30 geez why couldnt it have been in my teens. WTG. I think you rock and am greatful you are here too. You help me stay clean a day at a time.

i love learning now too! part of me gets overwhelmed with work and school, but then i love to excersize my mind. in high school i didnt care about the great education i was offered. i just thought that stuff was for losers! only reason i graduated was because of my mom! then i gave college a shot, but decided to go on a 4 month run so i dropped out. now... its 2 years after i graduated high school and im back! ive already completed on class and am now tackling two this semester. part of me hates it, but most of me loves it! what an accomplishment to go to school clean and be there to soak up knowlege! i sometimes wish i could stay in school forever. however, im taking the summer off... just because i would not have any fun if i was doing school and full time work. now ill be able to get my "mental health" fixed up a bit. ya know?

i think you rock bubblz! i was very happy to see you posting again. i had remembered you from a long time ago and am glad your back! its nice to meet likeminded people!

Amadeus is one of my favorite movies.

I have been studying a lot of socioeconomics lately. Largely to sort out for my daughters college.
Those are accomplishments to celebrate.

What are your two classes?
Dayna just finished chemistry and american history.
She also is taking the summer off.

Your achievements will pay off!!!!
