I finally won

Some of you know and some not. I worked all mylife until I hurt my back in work since then I was on workers comp. I had to back surgeries. My lawyer thought it wise to sign out of court for only thirty thousand. Well I went through twoo surgeries and still am not the same. I signed for social sercurity with not only physical ailments but mental as well. I filed back in 1999. I did it though I finally won after so many appeals they finally ruled in my favor. Not only an i in favor but they are paying me from 1999 on that is 5 years at 800 dollars a month. WOOHOO. Plus my daughter is eligable for about 300.00 a month with is also retro. I am looking at about 40k or more. God Is good. I never missed a day at work when I did work. I did not even want to aply. I had to could not do anything I was able to do before. I just thank god for the final descision. I can now furnish my appartment and stop watching tv from the floor not to mention the tv is black and white now.LOL.. Just thought I would share the good news.Five years I fought for my disability. Now they finally see its not a lie.

(((bubblz))) that is so great! i can hear a big sigh of relief. ill bet you and your daughter are going out for a celebration dinner!!! too cool! ah yes, the days of watching tv from the floor. i did that up until my mom bought me a cool papazan chair! God is good. my mom always says that the "truth shines through". congrats and rock on!!!

(((((((((((((((Bubblez))))))))))),now that is great news! I use to be a disabled advocate and our job was to get money for people. They mess with people who really need the money and give it to the best of the liers. It's a stupid system,but even though your getting $40,000,the Government is keeping the interest off the $800 a month that was due to you for many years. Nothing can make up for 5 years of fighting to prove that your disabled. All the heartache and tears. Now also thrown in the court cost and all the people who had to work on your case on both sides and you got a whopping $300,000 defeset (sp) and I wonder how much intrest the govenment was drawing off your money? Not that amount! They cut of their nose dispite their face. Administrative Agencies were to take the load off of regular govenment and to help the people instead you got pass the buck wars and the money going into the pockets of people who already have money so they can judge your life and see if your worthy of the money you put in just incase something happened. Sorry, I just think the money is better spent on the poor and stuggling instead of the white collar who will judge and say "I don't understand why you can't be more like us,let us step on you some more so I can feel better about myself". OK, Huray and buy the nicest thing you can find. Ofcourse I understand the other side too on how you can't have that much money in the bank or they will cut off your case because they gave you too dam much. Ofcourse your sweet lawyor will get almost half of what you will get unless he works for an agancy such as DAP who really help the poor and have you keep your money. O and buy a car too if you can!!!

Thank you all ladies for you congats. I plan on taking my daughter to the circus (ringling brothers) they will be in town on the 5th to the 8th I got front row seats and we can go an hour earlier to pet and meet the animals. I will go out to eat before the show too she'll like that.
I did how ever talk to someone I know who won there case and they only went back two years but there reward letter did not say fully favorable. I will have to wait and see. Anything is better then nothing. I will be greatful no matter what. Just have to wait and see.
Daughters asking to go to disney. I did a little research and we can take a long weekend trip for about 800 a piece that hotel food and tickets to the park. I will be looking into it more. Never know I never flew before so EEEEEK I am a little scared.

that is too cool bubblz!!! have yourself a great time! if you do go to disney, try checking out the surrounding hotels.. you will find that they are much cheaper and they still rock. some are scummy, but you can find a decent priced and decent looking one and spend the money you saved from disney hotel on gift shop, candy shop, and all that fun stuff!!! have a rockin time!

Descided to spend a little money (uh Oh )before I get it . I bought myself 2 spring oputfits little clam diggers in pretty spring colors and two tops and my daughter two outfits similar too. plus shoes gota have the shoes to match. It was fun I walked alot which made me feel good about myself too. Since my back surgery all I can do is walk and not for long so it made me feel good. Now all I need to do is start getting stuff for my house. Maybe tommorrow nah thats laundry and food shopping. Maybe while she is in school.
