Going to take a vacation from life

yes i am gurls. i am tired. and i am ready to put things aside and do for me. i will not be on much for i dont know how long. yada yada, youve heard it before. but this time, i am ready. i am going to take a break from being an addict (however impossible that may be). LOL i am still sick and tired of being sick and tired. i am going out of town for the weekend to bond with my mom. things with the stupid wench aka bio mom did not go so well. i just got sick of her way of handling things like if i dont return a call it is a personal attack. so forget her. seriously, i am cutting strings here and it feels really good. my boss says it is becaus i am sick and i just do not want people around me because they tire me. i say, "she is right". so, i wish you all the best and i will be back someday (very soon, LOL). i know it is not a good idea to take a vacation from being an addict, but i dont care. it is too wearing. i just have things to figure out. i still feel like a filthy criminal and it really sucks. so i have to figure that all out and when i have i will be back. i dont want to say i am a bad person, but gee wiz i sure feel like one! thanks for everything and keep rocking!

I think a break and a breather will do you good. We are so much then just an addict. Don't feel guilty about this break. Enjoy youself and relax. Follow your gut instincts and intuitions I always say. You are going to do fine. I don't see this as stopping your program or escaping, I see this as healthy get away from it all and rejuvenate the senses. I tend to get dulled and complacent if all I think about is recovery. Because recovery mainly for me is LIVING, free from obsession..about everything, including recovery. Go on out there and rock on lil sis! We'll be right here waiting for you. Will miss ya, but I so understand needing to get away from it all. Take care now.
