Angry can you believe it???

I despair of this town. When I came home from work today my new bike was gone AGAIN. I found the lock sawn thru on the ground. It just breaks my heart, i loved my new bike SO much and i spent 60 pounds on a decent lock which the bastards cut thru like butter. My insurance will never pay up again. My phone yesterday, my bike today. Only yesterday i was saying on this forum that my heart always skips a beat when i get to the parking lot as i think it will be gone again, and today it is. What more will they want from me? Im at my wits end, im so fed up.I tell you, i will tear them apart if i find them.Im sick of living like this.

Sorry for major vent, but im FURIOUS. Im gonna move to new zealand or something.Ijust dont feel safe anymore.

Clancy - so pissed off.

Oh Clancy, you are having a time aren't you. I just posted to your incedents of yesterday, hoping you were having a better day. I guess not huh! When it rains it pours around you girl. How about if we all move to our own island somewhere? Where there's NO STEALING ALOUD!
Hugs to you!

Re: can you believe it???

I still feel really angry and so helpless about this, what have i done to deserve so many things to be stolen from me....the worse thing they have stolen is my peace of mind, cant even rest easy in my bed at night, for listening out for housebreakers. Maybe its karma.God, i cant stop being cross about this...*sigh* im going to bed!!

Re: can you believe it???

Clancy, that's awful. I hope it isn't karma, but maybe, just maybe you're supposed to learn something from all this. After all, I think everything happens for a reason. But, what exactly you're supposed to learn, I'm not sure! Maybe you guys should consider moving, what do you think?

Love, Anna

Re: can you believe it???

Yeah, Anna,I always tend to think when something like this happens, have i done something to make this happen? it seems a crazy run of having things nicked.I really dont think i have, and i cant think of a lesson....well maybe im going to buy a cheap, battered old bike and a very expensive lock!!! Have thought of moving, its just hard with all the connections i have here. oh well!

Re: can you believe it???

You did nothing, this is other people doing this Clancy. This is an example of powerlessness. You are powerless over what they do, you can put your bike in the house, like working a program. I am powerless over my addiction, but I can go to meetings and work the steps (leave bike outside) or I can do nothing and complain about how horrible I feel.
Make sense?
It is not our fault when someone does something that violates us in anyway. We cannot control what others do, please remember that.

Hope you don't mind the bike analogy....kinda helped me toss in the powerless thing .
