And not the kind of lonely my kids can fill, or my friends, or family. I miss having someone to be with. I love having that person. It's so hard to meet that person in the first place anyway! I know people say you don't need a man to make you happy, I am happy...well enough anyway. But im so so so lonely in my love life. Where do you even meet men? I know you can't force meeting that one but I feel like as a single Mum I will never meet someone. It's making me miserable thinking about it. How do I accept it for now that 'he' hasn't met me yet? :-( Im dreading hearing 'it'll happen when it's mean to' noooooooo I don't want to wait!!!

I don't think any of us really want to wait for him. Life is so unpredictable that we can't really plan things out.

I do want to wait for the right person...but I don't want to wait for him lol. I definately could of planned my life better but there is zilch nothing nada I can do about it now...I hope im planning it ok now, maybe I should do some planning hmmm I dunno! Thanks for the reply :-)

Well, I have found someone but whether or not he is the right one i still dont know. Im on number 2 now, the last one turned out to be a jerk, lol. I think in the beginning we always think hes the right one and then sometimes it turns out he isnt.

I hope this one is the right one.

Number 2!! I've dated a bazillion guys...are we counting from when we were like 12 here!? My last ALL have been jerks lol ok maybe a whole 1 has been ok, im seriously not kidding, I have had the lowest of low standards, ive been like a puppy sitting there on a corner all alone with a sign on its neck saying 'take me, ANYONE, just love me, please just make me yours'!! Silly puppy I was. The 'beginning'...it's such a tricker isn't it!?

I hope he's the right one too! I bet he is ;-)

Liz, I think that as you become stronger and love yourself more, you will naturally attract people to your life, who are also strong and loving.

oh ok, i was counting from when i became an adult, because all those school relationships were silly, haha. I remember i had my first "boyfriend" in third grade and we passed notes and went roller skaing, lmao. Now that seems so innocent.

What about taking up a hobbie, something you enjoy like a cookery class or salsa dancing etc. You'd be doing something for you, meeting new people and more chance of finding someone at the same time.
