Just a nice night - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

It's not very often I can say I enjoied myself,but tonight I did! Actually the whole day was nice. good weather, no waiting at the DMV to renew my licence. I had a good fresh chinese lunch at the mall while I waited for my car to be don and it was done at the time they said it would! Anyway,tonight was my son's homecoming game. 1000s of people showed up for it. i got a seat right in front and it was just a good game and a nice exciting place to be. i was by myself being that all the little ones were sick,so my hubby staid home. And met up with a couple of women who were all very nice. Ofcourse I was proud as punch my son was on the foot ball team and he plays center. (he is the guy who passes the foot ball to the quarterback under his legs. I guess he is the hiker for those of you ladies who don't know much about foot ball like me). Anyway our team won yet again 43 to zip! We had this really great half time show and I was just so impressed! I'v had had such a hard time with this school system and my 13 and 16 year old,but watching my 17 year old play tonight and all the kids who partisapated in the half time show, I was proud to be apart of this school. Being in the front row I had the TV camras on me, ha I hamed it up! LOL. I also ate tons of junk food and bought raffle tickets and sweat shirts! I did't win the raffle,but I did win in a way to ease some of my bitterness for the school. The game got done and I said hi to my boy(he was on his way to lots of post time game activities and I got to go to a grand opening at a store! i only had about a half hour to shop,but everyone was excited because it was a new store and lots of great bargains! It's all so silly really,but it's nice to have a normal fun night without any disfuctions!:okay:

TY all! It's another beautiful day here and I'm out in the yard decorating for fall. I just put in a grave in the front year,now i need to go find a cut off hand to go in it! LOL!!! Actaully my whole yard is decorated with tons of silly things. My girls just love it. My two year old is still sick,but the other two are better. My 17 year old son did not finish his painting job I got him this summer,so my husband will go finish up today. I'm a bit pissed because it's a whole day of him not being able to do things around here,but I'll feel lots better once these people are taken care of. I'm ashamed of my son for not finishing up,but I guess he is alloud one fault. He is doing much better with the talking back and I don't want to start a war,so i'll let my husband finish up the job. ha, I'll take the calm when I can get it!

LOL, I was happy last night,but tonight I'm missrable! Caught what the kids had and no rest yet! I'm about to go lock myself in my room and have my hubby take over!
