Seriously, I am glad I was outta the house by the time it hit my mom!

One day, she started screaming at my sister because her drawer wasn't perfectly folded and organized, dumped out all the drawers and couldn't stop screaming...my dad had to take her to the ER!

hmmmmmmmmm, that makes me a pu$$y cat.

I am so sick of the hot flash crap! The worst part is the night sweats....or should I say night BATHS....how long does this last, anyway? It's been going on about 4-5 years. No period for coming up on 2 years....so that part is nice!

With all of that whining....I must say I think it's getting 'lighter'. I've taken no supplements, but I do exercise daily....which I do think helps.

of yet another woman's shoe being dropped
under the table at the women's meetings

and I know .... I am not alone!

I go to the doc on wednesday
so I'll ask about some of these things then.

Anvil told me she started with the mini hot flashes (like I'm having now - don't last but a few seconds but they are frequent) TEN YEARS AGO and we are both still having our periods. I've only started this a few weeks ago and I'm ready to find a portable air conditioner to carry with me 24/7!!

I applied for a job today that is working for a city's archival dept., and was practically begging HP for the job because it said "the archive dept. is kept at a lower-than-normal temperature" - yeah!!!!!! I don't care if I just sit in a meat cooler for 8 hours, at this point!

Me too!! As long as I get to stay inside the cooler! I'm trying to figure out, now, how I'm going to wait on tables and run to the cooler all night tomorrow night when I go back to work (I've had 4 days off).

I'm just glad it is finally getting cooler here - it was in the 70's just a week ago. I don't even want to THINK about how hot it will be in the summer time. I may have to move....

I have a friend at work who will tell you she is "two faced" but she's just moody. I asked her, one time, what her problem was and she said "menopause" so I've lovingly called her the "menopausal maniac"..guess there are going to be 2 of us now?
