| Women for Sobriety?
Have any of you had experience with Women for Sobriety? I have been looking at their web site, etc. One thing I like about it is the focus on the "new life" - building ourselves in a world without alcohol.. It seems very optimistic. Wondering if any of you have attended any WFS meetings. thanks!! KB |

Dear KB, Happening upon the site Women for Sobriety was what made me start thinking about quitting. I'm still actively using alcohol, but am having longer and longer periods without it. I think the concept of working on our self-worth is so important to women and I wish there was a group around my neck of the woods. Joyce. |

I just spoke with a friend in recovery who comes to AA, she told me yesterday that each morning she receives a phone call just to see if she is okay, if she is having any problems with her recovery and told to have a great day. I asked her who calls every morning and she said she also belongs to Women in Recovery and it is someone from that recovery program that calls her. I thought that was really a nice thing.
