he was taken to the emergency room yesterday with severe chest pains. He has a blockage in his heart, he is being transferred to the city today and they are going to try and remove it with a tube, he called it the roto rooter way, if that does not work they will do a bypass on him. His is 48 years old and I know it is not his time to leave this earth yet.

Please my friends, pray for him get through this. Pray for his wife and he sons to have him around. He has a 23 year old, an 18 and a 13 year old. He needs to be here to watch them grow into strong men.

I know that in the year 2003 bypass surgery is pretty routine, I have faith in that. But...I have MORE faith in God and the power of prayer.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your brother, thank God for medical marvels! I lost my Dad 20 years ago he was my age now, 43! I am so grateful for the advancement of technology so that many people have the ability to "get fixed" and live longer lives.

He's going to be okay Paulie, I'll pray everything goes well!

I also have a brother that needs heart surgery, due to years of cocaine abuse. He refuses to have surgery, just doesn't care... It is very hard for me to understand, he has 5 children and a good wife.

Prayers work....I truly believe that.

He made it through the procedure wonderfully. They inserted a stint (sp?) into the artery and it worked. He will be home tomorrow.

thank you all again, everytime I ask you ladies to pray for something in my family, even a dog...you are all right there for me.

Glad to here it Paulie, prayers work. Those stints are amazing! My friends mom had to have 3 put in, and she's doing awesome!
