Any suggestions on how to practice love and tolerance when I want to hit said boy with a hammer? Or better yet, how to keep my hands in my pockets and be patient and let go and let God?

Hi Em,

Go for a walk, take your ipod and let yourself get away from it all.

Being patient is hard sometimes, but it will pay off.

I've been on a "boys are mean" trip for about two years. I have been enjoying every minute of it too! Hang in there Em. For me, when I'm ready, I'll be ready but for right now I'm so much better off with out the hang up of a relationship. AMEN!!!!

So.. I've been on a boys are mean year... well almost a year. I let this guy into my life, fell for him deeply... even though he is so bad for me! and he's hurt me so much... treats me like I'm the only one that counts when we are close and then will just drop me like a hot potato... I see him at meetings and hear his name all the time... I really need to forgive but its so hard! And why do I still want him?

even though he causes you pain, it's comfortable pain. you are used to having him around. you need to break the habit of him just like you recovered from your addiction.
