| A good decision..
Hey Ladies I wanted to share this with you. We are moving and I have been cleaning things out, packing and having yard sales. I have kept alot of boxes of toys and clothes that belonged to my grandchildren. The foster mother had said that the kids had too many things..and no room for more. The toys were packed away for about 1 1/2 years, Just the way they had left them. They were nice toys and some were brand new..they had only had them a couple weeks before they were taken. They were their christmas gifts. I have been in a terrible quandry over what to do about the toys. Growly, (my neighbor) came over a while back and we were talking. She is having trouble concerning her grandchildren and their mother. Her son is the father and is seeking custody. The children have not been fed for a day or two at a time-their mother is not providing for their basic needs. Her grandchildren do not have much, they are very poor. They are about the same ages as my grandchildren. I could not bring myself to sell these toys...but I decided that I would offer them to Growly, for her grandchildren. She thanked me and happily took them. I was not sure if I had made a good decision or not..it sort of felt like I gave the last piece I had of them away. Today I looked out the window and seen the little girl carrying around the little basket of dishes...just like brittany use to. And in the other arm she held the minnie mouse that had been brittanys..Oh she was excited and playing tea party too. The litttle boy was playing with the matchbox cars and big trucks and was making "engine" sounds as he played. While it hurt a little to remember, It brought such a wonderful smile to my heart. It is so nice to see those toys being enjoyed instead of sitting in boxes in the basement collecting dust.

(((Sky))) That was a great decision in my opinion. You did not give a piece of your grandkids away, you are sharing them with other kids, that is an awesome gift!!!! I am proud of you!!! and I am sure they would be too!!!

Sky - pass the Kleenex!!! That was such a kind thing to do. We can only keep what we have by givng it away, and your act of kindness will mean so much to those poor little kids whose existence otherwise sounds pretty dismal. You get to wear the Tiara Of Kindess today!

| Oh Sky
How Wonderful!! It`s easy to part with things we do not want... Hard when they are memories. When I recently moved into a senior citizens apartment, AA members furnished it. Things they did not need have been a God send to me. You know those children will have a blast and you made it possible!
