How did the weekend go my friends? Everyone doing okay?

I didn't get done what I planned..but there's always tomorrow I figure, and I'm sure the work will wait for me!!~

Oh sis..Im sick and tired of all the rain. Been messin up my weekends long enough!! Cant go fishing and I really need to!!

OH GIRL... me too have so much to do to get ready for this new course.. don't know where to begin .. and I just played all weekend, got son's school close shopping done and choked, since I have to buy in the young mens section for him now. He has to where a uniform and my gosh $29.99 for a pair of pants, of course HE had to have Dockers!

Then I took a 2 hour nap yesterday when I should of been working, and here it is today at nearly 5 and what am I doing? Still playing! Am gonna be really screwed if I don't get to work, so off I go.... *yawn* a nap sounds good, *LOL*...

I think it's harder for the teachers to go back to school than the students!!~

I know it would be hard for me, hell I have trouble showing up for my day anymore..let alone a class, God knows I need a few classes of a little bit of everything!!:p

I've been thinking I need some chocolate...then a nap!!~

I posted about my weekend on the depression/bi-polar board, but I can post here too.

I had a great weekend taking my daughter to the fair. She's six, and my son who's 26 came too, as well as my husband.

I love doing things like this with her, she has so much fun it's a joy just to watch her. She loves the rides and games, all the displays, and we are going to sign her up for 4-H so she can participate in the fair next year. She loves to draw and wants to exhibit her art work.

The weather has been hot and humid here too. I much prefer cooler weather to hot weather.

I am so happy to be sober so that I can enjoy these times with my family.

Looking at fairs, sea world, santa, easter bunny through a childs eyes is so wonderful. They are so enchanted by these things..it really makes life magical again when we are adults. I miss this so much in my life. You have shared this with me today..thank you.

I had a very busy weekend! I worked this past saturday, it was "Tax Free Weekend"!! Here in Texas they have that tax-free weekend the 1st weekend in August, ALL school clothes & some school supplies are tax free!! So, everyone gets out to shop that day!!

(I work at the mall, in case ya'll were wondering)
I work for my brother, he owns an Autograph & Sports Memrobillia store, and on Saturdays we have "Yu-Gi-Oh" tornaments. Anyone who has kids from the age of 6 & up know exactly what the Yu-Gi-Oh card game I'm talking about, is!

hahaha!! Lots of kids sign up for this game for Saturday, they "duel" against eachother!! It's fun for them & really helps buisness, cause I'll tell ya...it's a madhouse there on Saturdays!
Anyway, my weekend went well, to say the least.
I also took my daughter school shopping, she loves to pick out clothes! hahaha

Sky~~ what state do you live in were it's raining right now???
wish it would rain here, or at least get cooler, the hot & humid weather in Texas is so miserable sometimes, you can hardly breathe!! hahaha

I'm glad everyone weekend went good! C-Ya later ya'll!

I am doing alright, making progress..we are buying our own home, found out yesterday the loan was approved, we never thought we would get it, i can't wait to get out of this neighborhood, it has been getting pretty bad around here.
