We have a flood warning here until 5:00 pm..its raining and pouring! I am glad to hear that you dont want me to float away

I had to swim out and move my car because the railroad ties in front of it were washed over the bank!! I didnt want my car to be next!!
Actually, I was thinking about doing some white water rafting this evening....if I could just talk at least one of the cats into it.....

Oh its looking pretty good now...the water is backed off of the road now some. It has all drained down into my basement

My avatar is a cute groundhog, gopher, or whatever the term is in your area.
Live in the ground and pop the head out the top of the hole once and a while to see if the coast is clear. If it is safe I am off. Look out for hunters and people with "rat poison"!

If I get scared, I can run back in my hole in the ground and hide.

BTW I used to live in a basement apartment. It went under water a couple/few times a year for every year I lived there. The water did not get that high and I did not drown. Why would I worry about that anyway, I had a waterbed!

Sometimes the title of the thread is more interesting then the name of forum.
I will try to be more careful in the future.

BTW I'm glad I came for a visit cuz I got the opportunity to see how well Sky is taking all this and does not need any quick fix for it.

Also SKY, you are an inspiration and your humor really cheared me up when I was having a bad day today.

I am feeling a little better now!

A new rat do!!! Oh how fun!!! Gosh we could wash him all up with rodent shampoo, blow dry all purty like, and then slick him all down with rodent goop stuff like mousse or somethin, We could put little ear rings in his little rodent ears, and paint all his little nails different colors, Oh I know..that really potent perfume like mom use to wear..we could use some of that, and then we could tie a bow on his tail!!! Oh that sounds so fun!!

Hey my house floated away back in 1999 during Hurricane Floyd.
Got sand bags? Just kidding....I hope you're all dry now.
Has the water gone down yet? Our water took about 2 weeks to go down some. It was awful!~ Are they calling for more rain tomorrow? Sure hope not
