| Heard in a meeting
There's this guy who has been sober awhile and goes to one of the meetings I attend and he always says - Why don't you try something different? Try being happy.  It makes me laugh everytime. For whatever reason it is on my mind today so I thought I share it.

Hmmmm, I kind of like the "try something different", that has really worked for me. Do something different from what I've done in the past..........since it worked so WONDERFULLY for me!!! LOL!!!! My counselor gave me a great CD to listen to today with a list of 13 great affirmations to read daily. *Negative thoughts destroy only me. *I am what I think. *Problems bother me only to the degree I permit them to. Three that really stood out for me that I need to continue doing until they are always second nature.  Thanks for sharing  |
