| Just read...desperatly seeking...33years18...
God...I just read her posting from over a year ago and had to see what else I could find. And what I found was nothing. It just makes me so angry about this disease and so sad for everyone it touches. I will pray for jamie tonight and hope that she found her way. Everyday I am thankful for the sobriety that I have. I am truly ready to work on the 12th step and want to reach out and help others. The sick feeling in the pit of my stomach is for everyone who doesn't know there is help out there. A couple of weeks ago I was in the chat room with someone also desperately looking for help. I have never heard from them again and have searched the forum to find thay have never returned. I was talking to my Mom today (who is 25+ years recovered) and we were talking about how this disease will destroy anyone in its path. For all that I knew about it I still ended up here! I pray for all those who need our help and our support. Just wanted to share Jen

There is sadness when some of our members disappear. But, we don't know what happened. She may be sober and happy at this point. Many people come here briefly, when in crisis, and then leave, hopefully moving forward with their lives.

I always wonder what happened to Yasmin. She posted over a year ago: Feel the pain was the name of her thread and it's saved on my favorites. I hope she found her way. Maybe this place started a seed...........
