Something funny!

Ladies,

I recently had to make an amends to my dear aunt, who has always been more like a sister. She has loved me through thick and thin, even when I was a complete selfish moron.

We come from a "colorful" family, as my therapist says. I suppose that's a nice way of saying total nut jobs.

After my amends had been made and she graciously accepted, we talked about the family. She told me a little story about my great grandma I thought you'd get a giggle from.

Granny was quite a character. She never bought a bra in her life. She always asked our women relatives to donate their old ones to her. Size didn't matter. She said that if worse came to worst, she could use a belt! Just to keep "them" from "flapping around."!

I've been laughing about that all day!

My g'ma always wore one of those corset things, but it went from below her boobs to her waist. Lets just say gravity, babies, and age were NOT friendly to her and she said her bra was used to "harness these suckers in".

My mom HATED bras (said she didn't have enough to put in one anyway) and shoes. When she died, we had her all dressed up but no bra or shoes..figured she would haunt us forever if we "tortured" her like that
