Youthful Essence

My skin is awful - very dry and I look a lot older than I am. We put a TV in at work (for the Olympics) and there is some show about "youthful essence", a skin care thing. Has anyone used it, or known any one who has used it?

It looks good, but they haven't told me the price yet ... and I'm not sure about buying stuff from the TV lol.

No I have not used it...it's a bad sign when the price is a mystery
I would not be giving my credit card numbers to
a company I know nothing about.
IMO

When I finally quit drinking....I noticed a big change in my skin.
First ..it got bumpy with whiteheads ...unusual for me.
By about 2 months sober...they had disappeared and my face
was again smooth.

I considered the bumps were the toxins leeching out
but have no idea if thats actually a fact.

The best tips I know for good skin?
This is for my dry skin type...
Stay out of the sun....keep 30+ sun screen on outside
Drink a lot of water. Moisturize nightly

Drinking alcohol makes people look older.

When using sunscreens please make sure they don't contain an ingredient called PABA it's been proved carcenogenic.

I don't know if you have Body Shop where you're from...but they have creams that are called Body Butter (heck, WAl-mart has the same thing in a waaay cheaper version) that is fantastic! My skin is really dry, too, which brings out unfortunate wrinkles (aren't all wrinkles unfortunate?! lol) and when I moisturize with body butter, not only does it smooth out the wrinkles, but makes a great base for make-up! And there are a TON of "flavours" that smell fantastic!

Drink alot of water.
wear sunscreen daily.
wash your face each night before bed and moisturize.

I use 15% vitamin c serum under my sunscreen, and 5% around my eyes. I also use Tentinin cream 0.1% every third night. These are Obagi products, and are expensive. But they work well.
