Hey ya all!!!Where is everyone.......wow, lots of new names here. I am soooo happy to be back online!I have soo much to share with everyone....been working for 7 months now AS A PERSONAL CARE AIDE...........PLANNING COLLEGE NEXT jANUARY........Hope everyone is doing alright today..........WARM HUGS TO ALL THOSE i MISSED AND LOVE SO MUCH AND WARMEST HUGS AND HOPE TO TO ALL THE ONES i HAVE YET TO MEET..WELL, MY TYPING SKILLD HAVEN'T IMPROVED WORTH A DARN..lol............i WORK 3-11.WILL BE Bck later tonight

Just got home from work. I am soooooooooo tired. Every muscle and bone in my body is screaming.....owwww!!!!! LOL..........Actually many THINGS are going wrong right NOW.......SHERIFF'S GROUGHT FORCLOSURE PAPERS, we are trying to get a lawyer to help but we are running out of money, my panic attacks are back with a vengenace, my health isn't so great, my teenage kids are driving me NUTs OMG my son and two of his friends while I was at work tried to get a video for YouTube where they were setting their chests on fore!! IN MY house.......OMG I was mad...I can't keep on second shift if they keep acting the fools.......yikes.......LIFE is one crazy ride......but ya can make it through anything I have found out My second month at work I walked into a bathroom to a woman in cardiac arrest and respiratory distress, no vitals, bluish purple..I did CPR and she made it back but only for a few weeks, died in a hopsice.it was really really hard on me. everyone said oh you did it all right, you did okay.but this womaN HAD no FAMILY, HAD ONLY US AND IT WAS LIKE I don't knoe, I ma very very atached to al my residents and it does take a toll. I need some tips on how to care without crashing emotionally myself. I take my work home with me, right in my heart. Anyways, enough about me........I am so happy to meet all you new ones. This site SAVED me life.......... Hope everyone is alright tonight. Warmest HUGS ever to all of ya!

Nice to meet you too dancing girl.....I work today 3-11 then YEAH!! three days off......I have been working 56 hours a week or more, some doubles here and there, I am taking my three days off this time. Hope to chat with ya all then............this site has helped me so much over the years. I found it in 2003....can hardly believe how rime flies, I have a daughter turning 14 next month!!! Son will be 16 in February......... Hope you have an awesome day......

I was thinking the same thing, Tammie. I remember when you started driving and what a huge step that was for you. And, now you're working full-time and planning to go back to school.

Hey ladies!! Hope ya all's day went well. I just got home from work. My heart aches for a new resident we have. She is having a very hard time leaving her home, her pets, her whole life has changed........It is sooooo hard for me to come home and switch gears........***sigh**** I had locked myself away for so long...every day I grow in amazing ways, even the very painful days teach me so much..and I swear they are making me STRONGER. I want to open my own personal care home..........I see so many things I would do different and how much better it could be for the entire population needing persoanl care services. I don't know how I will do it, but some day.... I Will........... :ghug :ghug

Thanks guys, some days I can hardly believe it. I'll be at work and I'll just stop a minute and think...I truly thought I could never work, was too scared, too sick...etc etc........
