Hey ladies, I need a distraction today and thought I'd post a question about would be your dream job?

I think mine would be to own/run a house(mansion, castle) for addicted mothers and their children..and to write many many screenplays while travelling the world.

What's yours?

My dream job would be someplace i go and later get a pay check!

You know a job that will pay you and let you use their rest room

Im kind of stumped on this one!!! I know i would like to work with people...I just dont know in what way.

Well, this month I'm in the process of moving into my 'realistic' dream job. SInce moving to Florida 3 yrs ago, i've been teaching 6th grade social studies. I recently was offered a job at a different school, teaching the Gifted (grades 6,7 & 8.. very VERY bright kids) This is the job I had for 10 years prior to moving here, and I feel like I'm going 'home' again.

This would NOT have happened had I not started the Sobriety journey, a year ago....!!

My 'pipe dream' job would be to quit teaching, and train young horses... Who knows! I'm only 45.99999, so it just might happen before I'm done!

My dream job is to be a drug & alcohol counselor or maybe an intervention specialist to help people who are like I was before I found A.A. It may not be a ton of money but it would pay my spirit well!

To own my own website that pays BIG $$$$$$$$$! I've already started the design and it will happen oneday very soon! Then I can stay home with the kids and homeschool them and not have to worry about not being financially independent incae my A doesn't grown up soon!

I would like to start a foundation for single mothers who REALLY
want to be self supporting and happy. It would have to be a barter program where you have to put in so many hours cooking cleaning babysitting but you could go to school have babysiting (all hours) and there would be meetings for self esteem and relationship issues and ex husband issues.

A true support sysytem for women who make that low middle income who are trying but can't seem to do it ALONE.

There would be a trading clothing store where you could get your kids decent clothes and trade in the outgrown stuff.

You could learn to cook and budget and get support when motherhood is too much.

Anne, I LOVE your idea! It sounds like it could work really well.

Me, I always wanted to be a vet. But I'll settle happily for vet nurse.

If all goes to plan, I'll soon start volunteering at the RSPCA, helping out in the surgery (just basic stuff) and I'm so excited because I didn't know this was an option. I thought it was just a silly dream of mine. I've done a horse husbandry certificate course so hopefully one day I will work with large animals and do some travelling with it as well.

Ahhh, dreams are wonderful

I love your idea! Wouldn't that be great?! You could probably get grants from the 'ol government for that idea! You should do it!

Really strange stuff. That idea was laid on my heart about ayear ago. I have only told one other person the idea.

But...when I shared that last night with you, this commitment in me seems to re-emerge.

It WOULD work...but require so much dedication and $$$ to get the project going. I believe the dedication from me would be there because it is so STRONG in my heart, but it is getting to the right people to get the $$$.

Since I posted last night, I have a few ideas again. One of the people that I think would help get it started is Brenda Warner...(Kurt Warner STL rams quarterback wife) because she was a single mom for so long and she is a crusader for good causes.

I will keep you posted.

Soon as I sell some of my screenplays and books you WILL have the money.
