I told this joke at an Al Anon meeting recently - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

and I have told it and heard it many times before but for some reason I actually REALLY heard it. As in I thought oh my god, that is me.

"What's the last thing that flashes before a codependent eye's before they die? Someone elses life."

It was one of those lightbulb moments for sure and it has been in mind nearly everyday since.

Yes! this is my favorite joke. I repeat it often. I am so enmeshed with my son it is pathetic and codependent.
