Anjole, glad you decided to join us! I can't even stress how much this site has done for me. and it sounds corny maybe because I only know people over the computer, but it really feels like I know them. If not for SR I would NOT have flushed those pills 2 weeks ago, I would NOT feel like anyone understands me or is there to support me. Bottom line....I would not be clean today. And I am so grateful for that. God only knows why I thought of searching the internet that one night for a support place and this one came up. Or why I even decided to join. But I'm so glad I did.

Hi Anjole, Welcome! I seem to go all over to the different forums but this is a special site for us women. ![]() I have been sober a long time but still need interaction with other alcoholics and people who want to get clean and sober. ![]() I have a brother still out there...we are in our 60's & he just got rid of the drugs but is still drinking. He is living with a sober friend and I call to see how my brother is doing...he rarely calls me...is into the alcohol heavy again. It is so sad but he is the only one that can get himself sober. Keep coming back...read...ask questions...or just say Hi & how you are doing. kelsh
