| Happy Mother's Day
I wish all the SR Moms a very Happy Mother's Day! I hope you all take some time tomorrow to know that you did, and are doing, a good job as a Mom, however that role might be for you, at this time. ![]() Being a mother is definitely the hardest job in the world. I tried to be the perfect mom, and do everything right, and just about lost my mind in the process. I still have some regrets, but I do know that I absolutely did the best I could do, with what I knew then. Today, I have two grown-up kids, both happily married, with good jobs and good lives. I think they like to spend time with me. ![]() How unbelievably blessed am I!

Happy Mothers Day to you Anna and all mothers Yes, I made my share of mistakes also. Most grandparents I know are so wise to bringing up kids because they learned by there mistakes. So, I don't think there is a perfect parent. My mom is always saying I wish I would have taken more time with my kids. And she never drank. Think there should be grandparents day.

| Happy Mothers Day to each of you. I am grateful for the second chance I have been given to be a mother to my children through sobriety.

Happy Mothers day to you and to me!!! My children brought me some wonderful books and magazines about my hobbies (miniatures, quilting, historical fiction, painting) and some paints and supplies! There really is nothing I would have enjoyed more. And I got to have a beautiful luncheon with my Mom and my brothers, sisters and their families all there. It has been a great clean, sober day for me. I did notice, for the first time today, how much alcohol is consumed at my parents house (we are Irish after all) and how some of my family did discuss pain killers as very desirable. I never noticed that before. It was a really nice day though. kj |
