| Day 2
No hangover this am (nice!) Was more patient with my daughter...I could actually set rules and have her do them without it resulting in a mother/daughter dual. Have to drive by the same old places on the way home so there was temptation, but I said no. Sleeping difficulty (aside from yesterday) is the only real detox symptom I've had. It almost makes it too easy when you don't suffer. You can almost kid yourself into thinking that you're not an alcoholic if you don't suffer from the detox symptoms, but I know that isn't true. I see myself in all of the posts I've read. I still haven't throughly cleaned the house, but I sorted laundry and washed some. I will revel in the small victories and I'm not going to beat myself up for failures. One day I hope to be able to help a new poster the same way you all have supported me! Thank you so much for your help and encouragement. |
