Good News - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Found out my brother is out of jail. Somehow ALL charges were dropped gainst him!! He says his wife said she didn't drop them, so I don't know what is going on. A miracle or friends in right places, or what. He has his old job back and says he's doing well. I just hope it lasts. He's not back with his drinking/drugging wife so hopefully he will face his own problems and get straightened out. Thought I'd share some good news!

I'm doing much better, thanks Tammie.

I just need to do more meetings this week and the "crazies" will calm down a lot. Nothing major, just need some help finding my centre again then I will be ok.

Well sweetie I am sending psoitive and healing thoughts your way!!!

I know this recovery busines is damn hard but I also know it HAS to get better, and I will say a special prayer for you right now! Love ya and take it easy and slow, it'll all fall in place. I think what is hard for us is identifying with sobriety the way we identified and bonded with the booze and drugs. You just hang in there. You sound very tired in your posts, maybe drink some chamomile tea or something else that soothes you? And get some real good sleep? If you ever need to vent/talk/just someone to listen..I am here.
