Jealousy

Well it's been about 2 1/2 months now that my husband has been sober. I've continued going to Ala-non which I attend every week. Ala-non has helped me alot but now that I'm understanding more about the disease I feel more and more Jealous which I assum that "What if". I know when my husband was drinking my husband took our grandson with him and bought a watch( this was around Christmas time) which he said to my grandson "don't tell Grandma" of course I confronted him though my husband said to me in front our grandson that it wasn't true. My grandson is mild retarded which I know he would not lie or make up a story like that. Anyways, seems that I have lost my trust. I feel like a crazy women at times just wondering but then I use my tools that I've learn from ala-non. Somedays I go for days without thinking about anything just feel so helpless that is it me just going out of mind?

Children can often confuse dreams with reality.
Or perhaps a TV incident became real to the boy?

The important thing for me is to keep serene
and that means prayer and my AA Step work.

Welcome to SR I think it's only natural that when someone is in early recovery that their family become suspicious, after all once trust has been broken it needs rebuilding and this often takes a lot of time and patience. Try to stay focused on the fact that notonly he is recovering but so are you and give yourself some slack.
