Im back- quitting again

I went 72 days not drinking, it was a wonderful ride - thinking i could handle social drinking i had my first drink on Nov 6th after 72 days- feeling proud of myself- only having 3 glasses of wine, i felt like i had this beat- lol ya right-

funny how the alcoholic mind works isint it? I quickly got back to finishing off entire bottles of wine in no time. Last night was the last time i had a drink
Im making a decision to stop again and climb back on the wagon

I keep trying to remember how great it felt being sober. having nice white eyes again, clear skin. no bloat. no stomach issues. no mental fog in the mornings. it was a wonderful feeling for 72 days.

Im here to admit that i am powerless over alcohol. I am an alcoholic and Im glad to have this forum to share.
Wish me sober thoughts for my first night being sober again.

thanks for listening
maria

Hey, Maria,
The important thing is you caught yourself. It's never easy, right? We've all been there. Just remember to keep going forward. Keep thinking about how good you'll feel!

Many of us had false starts before we
reached solid sobriety.

Good to see you again...
