I don't know really? I missed that part. He went from tape worms to that, I was kind of shocked, he showed a picture of it, it's from the catfish family...

I know that tapeworms live in your stomach and eat your food.

I think we will keep you.....you make me laugh......and sometimes a little scared....that one is gross.....If I ever make it to the Amazon I am staying out of the water between that and the pirhana I don't know which would be worse.

horrible! i ave seen in magazines that there are pink pigmented dolphins in the amazon too, so i think id admire them from afar. hahaha

Yea, I don't know, I'm pretty protective over my vagigi, but I don't like being eaten by man eaten flesh eaters either.

Is there really such a thing as a "penis fish"?

A Grey's Anatomy episode featuring something called the "penis fish" left some fans wondering…is that real? According to Dr. Oz, it absolutely is! Dr. Oz says the penis fish, or candiru, is a member of the catfish family that lives in the Amazon River. He says the fish can swim into a person's penis or vagina.

"When it's a baby, it's translucent and it's very small, so it actually can wiggle its way up there," Dr. Oz says. Once the fish enters a person's body, it begins to grow. "The only way to get it out is to operate," Dr. Oz says.

Ah Done another mystery of the jungle exposed.

I am sure that most all people have some kind of parasite especially sick people. Most parasites can't live in a clean body that does not contain what they like to eat...many bacteria and parasites are attracted to diseased tissue and are actually doing their job. Harmful bacteria can't live in a clean body cause there is nothing for them to eat.

I bet the natives of the amazon know how to prevent an attack of the penis fish...
