Pauline,
I haven't been to a meeting. Poor excuse but I work full time and live in a rural area most meetings are 30 to 50 miles away. In the past i went to one on a Wednesday night. I promise if i don't go to one before next week I will go on Wednesday next week.

I had a hard time yesterday staying away from the booze my husband has in the cellar. i am grateful for finding all of you on the computer. Not doing this alone is the greatest gift of all.

I am grateful for 7days of sobriety. It feels awesome. Thankyou to all who responded with such support and kindness.

HI! I'M GLAD YOU HAVE FOUND THE MESSAGE BOARDS ALSO!

KEEP COMING BACK! DON'T DRINK NO MATTER WHAT, & OF COURSE MAKE IT TO THE WED. NIGHT MEETING.

I KNEW A GIRL WHO DROVE 70 MILES ONE WAY, EVERY NIGHT,
TO A MEETING FOR THREE YEARS. THIS IS WHAT SHE WAS
WILLING TO DO TO STAY SOBER.

WE HAVE THIS BOARD, ALSO, THANKS TO GOD.

IT WILL GET BETTER.
