| What Is God Like?
I am unable to tell you who the author is of this...I came across it in early recovery and kept a copy of it in my files and came across it tonight. What is God like? God is like Coke – He’s the real thing. God is like general electric – he lights your path. God is like Bayer Aspirin – He works wonders. God is like Hall mark cards – He cares enough to send the very best. God is like Tide – He gets the stains out that others leave behind. God is like VO hair Spray – He holds through all kinds of weather. God is like Dial soap – Aren’t you glad you know Him? Don’t you wish everyone did? God is like Sears – He has everything. God is like Scotch Tape – You can’t see Him – But you know He is there

I needed something to Humor me and this did it for the moment......Thanks.... I am thinking of all the times when I thought God wasn't there ....OR....just taking a break..... Today I am praying that I stay in the Now and thank God for all He does for me.......................I have many years in recovery ......But that doesn't matter ...... What does matter is that God has never left helping me when I think He has..............He is like that Scotch tape that never stops hanging around being stuck to your shoe or something else.......... Looking for God in all the right places today....... Little Penguin
