Hi. I hope it's OK to ask this, but I was just wondering what the general age of people here was. Just out of curiosity. I suspect it's incredibly varied, but I'm curious.
(I'm 31.)
I'm just interested because of the generational differences that arise sometimes.

I think that is one of the wonderful things about a forum like this, we dont see each other so we are not influenced by what our minds could automatically tell us are 'generational differences'. IMO often we (including me) think someone may not understand or relate because they are older or younger but I am very often wrong. But here we cannot see and for me anyway, I can receive input with more of an open mind.
I am 43.

I dont know where Im going, Im not sure where I've been
There's a spirit that guides me, a light that shines for me
My life is worth the living, I dont need to see the end.
I'm 54 and thankful for every year of it. . . . and sober since March 8, 2001 and even more thankful for that!

When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down "Happy." They told me I didn't understand the assignment. I told them they didn't understand life.

My sobriety date is just a few days from yours. Mine is March 13, 2001.
