That was the hardest part for me also. I am so thankful that I have the program of AA to teach me how to live clean and sober. I don't even want to think about trying to white knuckle it through sobriety again with out a program not knowing how to live without drinking but wanting deperately not to drink anymore. It is like living on the edge of a cliff and never knowing when you are going to fall of. I did that way too many times before I tried AA. I still have a lot to learn about life though but I know the 'simple kit of spiritual tools' are at me feet, I just have to remember to pick them up.

I'm not an AA'er and I say work what works for you and I'm happy that you have found your path...isn't it wonderful?
