Very impatient. - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

OK, I'm starting to get antsy now.

The recovery house is ready to go for monday. Now I'm starting to get impatient. I don't have anything to do now except wait. I have to wait to get calls from facilities placing women. then get them into the house.

I'm impatient though. I want to get going NOW!!!!

Tomorrow, we are going over to arrange the furniture, and then we are going to take advantage of the swimming pool in the back yard. But, until then I don't have any residents yet.

I think I am also starting to worry about whether or not we are going to fill the house.

I need to be patient, and this is going to take time to get off the ground, but I am running short of patience right now. (I'm over tired and jittery too right now though).

Pray for a successful recovery house for me please.

Think of this last day as "the end of the pregnancy"--you are waiting for your water to break, labor to begin and eventually that brand new baby will be here and then the fun begins!!

About 3months from now you will be ranting, raving, moaning, and b****ing that you wish you HAD MORE BEDS, roflmao.

You will be amazed at how quickly that house will fill up and how long your waiting list will become.

I know you are exicted, scared, thrilled, etc............................you have taken on a very large responsiblity and it now BECOMES IMPERATIVE that you remember to TAKE TIME FOR YOU EACH WEEK. That is your 'downtime.' That is when you get to defrag, run virus programs and clean YOUR DISKS, lol.

YOU MUST do that for YOU.

I wish you the best of everything and have you and yours in my prayers.

I went over again today. The house is looking great. you can tell that a bunch of men picked out the curtains, non of them really match the rooms they are in, lmao. But, the ladies can change that around after they get in.

The cable tv and internet are all set up, the phone will be on tomorrow. Food will be stocked in the house (non-perishables) tomorrow. The pool is ready to go and there are plenty of cans of propane for the BBQ grill.

WAIT!! I want to move there!!! Roflmao.

I know the gfeeling of being irritavble restless, and discontent and impatient, especially after working so hard...But kniow..KNOW with certainty..you do the footwork and leave the rest to your huigher Power.
