Wink Gratitude

How about we start a Gratitude thread right here for us women.

I am so very grateful for SR and the women of the program. They teach me how to get through things. They recognize in us where they have been themselves and teach hopw us they did it.

I am grateful for the women who hold me up and support me whan I am down. They celebrate with me and encourage me when i make changes in myself.

Gratitude - I write down 5 things I am grateful for each night, and this act in itself keeps me grateful.

Hmm - right now - I am grateful for the supper my Mom made for me today. She also watched my daughter for me while she was sick so I wouldn't miss another day of work.

So - I am grateful for my Mom.

I have a huge amount of gratitude for the women here. From the beginning I have turned to the women with my questions, my concerns, my beliefs. I have always found deeply caring and honest women and I am so grateful to all of you.

Grateful I have my bed and a roof over my head. [thinking ofo the folks on the east in the flooded area....my heart fgoes out to them as I have lived in the flood regions and lost everything...and it was just stuff.

The storms continue to rage...I pray no more deaths.

I'm grateful for my sobriety, I am grateful my family accept me and I can play with my grandchild.
I'm grateful for all the beautiful people here at SR who always come to my aid when I'm down and lost.
I am grateful for life and the many chances I've been given to 'get it right'.
I am grateful for music and animals and sunshine and beauty.
ad infinitum.
I am grateful for this wonderful thread and everyone who is grateful too. I am grateful for everyone who have overcome adversity and who are still enthusiastic about love light and who make me smile and weep.

This is a lovely Thread!

I am grateful for:
My sobriety
My girlfriend
My job
Alcoholics Anonymous
Funny people who make me smile
The view from my apartment
The fact that I have an apartment I can call my own
This sunny day
Peanut butter sandwiches

there is more but that is enough for now.

Surleyredhead, FANTABULOUS!!! OUTSTANDING!!! You have every right to be excited..When exactly is your sobriety date...I just at random chose the 28th which would mean you would have at this moment 409877605+ sober heartbeats...and 4743 days of one day at a time....That is something to be proud of!!!!

eRose..Ain't it grand yto have some one truly care about us to walk through every day with us?

Tess i am a chocoholic...and i too am gratreful for the chocolate brownies someone brought me for my birthday. And it was female chocolate too!!
So I am gratreful "J" remembered to make it female.

I am grateful I was given the gift of another gal to work with in recovery.

I am grateful for the times I am able to suit up and show up at a real live meeting and have that people direct face to face contact.
