day two blues...what did you do to get through? still sober...still sick...my head and everything else hurts...two panic attacks today ...all the while trying to appear normal...i am alone in this and kind of scared here...i know i can get through this but it is harder than i thought it would be, considering the small dose i was taking...like i said, maybe it is mostly mental...i know this i good for me but i just want the dazed and detached feeling i get...reality is harsh...i am strong but right now it feels like the f*******drug is stronger...what did you do to get through?

exercise. get physical somehow. run. dance. put on headphones and tune out the world... pray, read books about addiction, visit this website--learn as much about my enemy as possible. keep busy. love my kids. when all else fails, spend time really with them--totally focused on them. {{ayla}} you are doing all the right things. i was right where you are only a short time ago..hang in there..we're all in this together!!

One minute at a time. That is how I do it on the hard days. I get on the telephone or on the internet and chat with other recovering people. Easy does it, especially at this point. You need to get a lot of rest, a lot of vitamins etc. That helps my anxiety so much. My thoughts are with you. One breath at a time. For me it's one chore at a time on some days. One other real help..coming here. Saying to myself "I'll come to SR before I make one more decision." I have set my daughter up with crayons so I can read SR for five minutes. Sometimes that is all it takes. I'm a better person for it.

I'm still awake, sleep will be a problem tonight, i'm sure. I actually did excercese, pay lots of attention to my kids( sometimes that feels like the only thing i do)... took some advil for soreness and I am planning on a hot bath with a good book since it seem like i am going to be up for a while. I have lots of experience in functioning when i feel like s****...mommies don't get to be sick, do we? This place is the best thing for me right now, thank god i found it and thank god for all of you...
