Sitting on the couch with my laptop on my lap and typing away...I have been sober for sometime when I found SR...I have enjoyed reading the post and seeing how others cope with the many issues that come our way. I see all of us a community that shares exsperiences, and info about how to stay sober and how to avoid some of the pitfalls. I wish I had found SR during my first stages because AA was not for me. AA is a wonderful program, and has and will continue to help many people...for some reason it just did not fit me. Reading, and learning about the addictive mind, and being honest with myself, and loved ones is what pulled me through. I'm glad to have found SR.
