The briar patch
 

I knew I needed to stop drinking when, at 2am on one of my drunken excursions into some random person's backyard, I found myself in a briar patch. Screaming, bleeding, covered in bruises and dirt and bug bites, and grabbing thorns with my hands to rip them aside. I'd gotten lost, I barely remember how I even got there, I'd hit my head and my phone was dying. I remember crying and seriously considering just falling asleep in the woods among the thorns, but I knew I HAD TO get home or I could've literally died there. How's that for craziest drunken thing you've ever done?
