I came home from the grocery store - carrying bags - slipping on ice - don't have house keys -

You would think it could not get any worse.
No such luck. I finally get in the house.

I'm huffing and puffing-- plop my body on the couch and yell "Hey, your mom needs help here"

My son (13) eventually struts his "Cool Teen" physic into the room.
Don't get me wrong, he does help me put things away---even gives me a quick kiss on the cheek with "luv you mom"

Goes into his room, comes out with a pack of m&m's (What I would munch on when I got nervous and the AV was telling me "It's o.k.---have a beer)

Tosses the bag to me and say: "Here mom just incase you feel the urge coming on for a drink" They always work l

At 13, I have myself a very Smart Boy and an occasional Smart Ass lol

* I have at least 2 bags of M&M's in each room of my house. Bathroom included lol

Ya do what you got to do!

p.s. I'm trying to eat healthier so I sometimes make a chex mix (with M&M 's of course )

-------in the title it was supposed to read "smart-ass not aslol

I dont mind plain but peanut M&M's are so nice esp mixed into icecream on a hot summers day
