Working in the garage , with beer in hand...
Working in the garage on a Saturday, with beer in hand sometime in early November 2014..
Already blasted threw 12 or so and it wasn't even 3PM yet..
I was hanging some ceiling racks and loading them with a bunch of boxes , when I felt a shot of ammonia smell and taste shoot up my neck , head started pounding and I almost passed out right there...
Thankfully , they tied most of that to a serious bacterial sinus infection , and I ended up in the ER over night for eval..
Liver enzymes were raised , urea was found in my blood...
They rehydrated me and sent me on my way..
Being the hard headed fool I am , I continued an assault on my body for a few more days till I couldn't take it anymore....
Done on Nov 12 only got 4 beers in before I almost passed out, Nov 13 was my first day sober , all of Nov was a dizzy headed blur....
The next 2 weeks were a variety of Dr's visits and ER visits which are all still a blur..
All's I can remember is that on thanksgiving, I am sitting in the ER waiting for some form of detox relief..They sent me home that day with Ativan..
Been making progress since...
But I thought I was headed for my deathbed that day in the garage apparently I was if I didn't quit drinking...
