| Spiritual progress.
Having had a spiritual experience two years asgo, so that my alcoholism left me, when I was alone, unaided by human hand, I now find I need to stay close to ,'the God of my understanding' not just now and again or even everyday, BUT throughout each day for otherwise I become prey NOT to alcohol itself, but the -ISMS that make thiis disease alcohol-ISM. It seems not only that I have to be vigilant but constantly recognise I am now and will always be a sober and grateful recovering alcoholic which beats all, my past achievements, which are varied and many so that they are held in high esteem by others although for myself, that I wake up clean,sane, jury's still out on that one and sober everyday beays them all.  |
