I just thought it might be a good idea to have a little online support so I Googled forums like this and found you guys.

I've always read lots of self-help books about people 's experience of alcohol wrecking their lives and then giving up.
One book I read on the subject was probably one of the least inspiring in many ways as i couldn't really identify with the story but it actually gave me the most practical idea which has been a life-saver to me -to find help online here at SR in this forum.
I thank the author of this book for guiding me to SR:"Cleaning up how i gave up drinking and lived"
