I came across Sober Recovery by accident

I was looking for inspirational stories and stumbled in here over 4 years ago

A great guy by the name of Stud 0134 started this thread called " please read for inspiration"

The thread got to be so long, had to make a two parter to it.

Some great stories in it, on the Christians in recovery on here.


I've grown and watched many others grow on here as well. met people that are no longer here due to this disease

Some people just moved on with their lives.

I'd had a resentment on here over politics. I lost sight of this being a recovery site and stayed a way mostly for a year or so.

I stumbled across my name surfing go figure. Looked at it and a comment was made by historyteacher missed seeing me on here.

Hmm time I get back home where I belong

Hello!this is my first post in here I am almost 2yrs(2/25/07)sober though-I've heard of these recovery chat lines but never tried but my daughter stumbled across this one looking for alanon and passed it on to me--That is a very nice post above-Thanks!!!
