I was getting ready to teach class. I'm an English Lit professor at a local university. I've been through hell. I started drinking after a student blew his brains out all over my shirt. I ended up with two DUI's in six months and I got divorced. I live alone with my blue heeler and see my son three times a week.

I'm recovering. I relapse. But I'm in recovery.

This is a good site, glad I found it on a whim.

Glad you found us. What you have been thru sounds horrific. I can't imagine what it must be like.

It is a show of strength that you found us. I am so glad you are seeking recovery.
