At Mom's - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Mom has the computer not me. I had stopped by her house to do some computer stuff and decided to try and find a forum.

I am 3 days sober. I woke in a jail cell and knew that I had to do something. I have lost near everything but my job, don't ask me how.
Many relationships,
on the verge of losing my kids,
My house,
wrecked a company truck,
and gotten my second DWI within
a year.

I make good money, but have none. I have a decent car I have beat up.

MY LIFE IS UNMANAGABLE. It took another night in jail to figure this out. Mom has been telling me this, my ex-wife has been telling me, and a cycling friend (in the program) had his suspicions. I still wasn't listening.

Finally a got my wake up call. I have been in AA before but wasn't ready. I am now willing to go to any lengths to make my life better.

Congrads on accepting step one.
For me, I can not stay sober without AA and the steps.
You sound ready to me.
Don't drink and go to meetings.
Life will be better, just takes sober time.
