I'm still standing after all this time... - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Hi everybody,

Just wanted to say hello because I haven't been around SR for a while. But I have been busy with those things that help me stay sober...recovery meetings, a sponsor, good friendships among my fellow recovering addicts, a therapist, a good friend who knows everything about me and always wants to know how I am doing, and an ongoing and ever-deepening relationship with my Higher Power.

But I have been missing SoberRecovery and so feel the need to come back here--especially since it was people on these boards who really helped me out a lot last year when I was really down in the dumps. Thanks to them and thanks to all those who have helped me, I am quickly heading towards one year of sobriety (on April 1). So thanks everyone and keep on working that recovery!
